Join the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers Football Coach Jerry Kill and
his staff along with players, parents and guests as we review the 2011 season
and acknowledge the contributions ofthe senior class. Team awards and passing
of the Captain's Torch will be part of the program.
The banquet will take place in the 3rd Floor DQ Club at TCF Bank Stadium. The
parking lots behind the stadium will be open. Game day parking rates apply and
metered street parking is available.
Schedule of Events:
10:30 am Doors Open
Please enter at the Premium Seating Entrance at Benton County. A coat check
will be available in the lobby.
10:30 - 11:45 am Social Hour and Silent Auction
Mingle with Golden Gopher Football fans in the DQ Club while you enjoy your
favorite refreshment from the cash bar. If you would like a bottle of wine with
dinner for your table, you may select one from the bartenders prior to sitting
down and a server will pour it for you at your table. (Cash and checks will be
accepted, but no credit cards.)
12:00 pm Welcome, Senior Procession, Invocation, and Luncheon Buffet
Welcome by Rickey Foggie and Jay Thomas, former Gophers, GLC Board Members, and
Banquet Co-Chairs. The Senior procession will be led by Goldy and a marching
band quintet. The Invocation will be by senior defensive lineman Anthony
Jacobs. The buffet will include Filet Mignon Tips with Mushroom Sauce, Walnut
Chicken Breast Scampi, Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, an
Assortment of Salads, and Cheese Cakes. The meal is being served by
Dangerfield's.
12:45 pm Program
There will be recognition and thank you to the seniors. Team Awards will be
presented and a ceremony for passing of the Captain's Torch.
Tickets
Individual tickets are $35 and need to be purchased on this website.
Reserved upfront tables for 10 people are $400 and can be arranged by e-mailing
