Parents,

I would like to bring you up to speed on the upcoming event. As many of you already know, we will be holding our spring game on April 23^th at TCF Bank Stadium. Game time is 1:00 p.m.

There has been a location change so after the game you are invited back to the Nagurski indoor practice facility for a BBQ with the team. The BBQ will start at 4:00 p.m.  Unfortunately NCAA rules do not allow us to cover the cost of your meal: adults will be $10.00, children $7.00. The University will cover the cost of the players.

The parent’s part of the spring BBQ just got easier for us, we have been asked to bring something extra special for the players. All we need to provide is the desserts so please bring your sons favorite dessert to share with his teammate’s cakes, cookie, brownie, cupcakes and bars.  The rest of the food will be provided.

It is very important that we have everyone who is planning on eating at the BBQ RSVP with the number of people joining them in their party. Last year there were some issues with people coming who had not signed up and this created a problem with having enough food.  The food is being catered by Moe’s and since there aren’t any kitchen facilities they won’t be able to provide additional food should we run short.

I hope you will all be able to join us to kick off this winning season and share it with our whole team.
